# Money20/20 Europe: David & Goliath An Alternative Ending | Modo Payments

Banks' greatest strengths (their size, scope and scale) can complicate the delivery of new capabilities. Collaboration with FinTech startups can be the path to creating next-generation services for global banks. When Bank of America Merrill Lynch needed to move quickly to accelerate innovation, they sought a unique partnership with a fast-moving, rip-roaring startup, Modo. In this session, the proverbial David & Goliath will discuss the early stages of their initiative to enhance the Bank’s Digital Disbursements platform using Modo’s COIN technology and share their vision for a more connected payments ecosystem.
